Robert J. Peluso was raised in our hometown and proudly attended Parsippany School System. He and his wife Ildiko married, purchased their home, and are now raising their son, Robert, in the very community they cherish.

Robert graduated with an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and Montclair State University with a BS in Business Administration.  In his professional life, he committed to serving the public for the last thirty years in the financial industry in Executive Leadership positions.

Robert takes great pride in giving back to his community and enhancing the quality-of-life for people who work, live and play in our township. Robert’s tireless commitment to our Parsippany-Troy Hills is evidenced by his long, rich history in community service rising through the ranks to be promoted to leadership positions for worthy causes which benefit many Parsippany residents. He was honored as Citizen of the Year by YMCA-Lakeland Hills and received the Good Scout Award from Patriot Path Boy Scouts.  In his public service life, Robert focuses on efforts in advancing health, educational, economic development and family services in Parsippany. Elected by his community, Robert serves the residents and business community as Vice President of the Council in Parsippany-Troy-Hills.  

Robert currently leads non profits including the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce as President, Parsippany Area Visitor Center as Founder and President, and Morris County Economic Development Corporation as Board Member. Prior board leadership roles include President of the Skylands Tourism Council of New Jersey, Vice President of National Kids Construction Club, and Board Member of First Night Morris. Additionally, Robert serves on the Advisory Boards of Dean and Betty Gallo Prostate Cancer Center, Homeless Solutions, Employment Horizons, Morris County Technical School and YMCA-Lakeland Hills. Robert recognizes the safety and quality of life of our community and graduated from the Morris County Sheriff Department’s Citizen Police Academy, Parsippany’s First Citizen Police Academy, and is CERT Certified through Office of Emergency Management.
