    Recent Mock Trial

    On May 14, 2012, the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills Municipal Alliance Committee in conjunction with the students from Parsippany Hills High School held a mock trial to explore the consequences of bullying. In attendance were Morris County Prosecutor, Robert Bianchi, Mayor James R. Barberio, and Judge Anthony Frese.

    Mayor Barberio, Congressman Frelinghuysen and Senator Pennacchio attended the ribbon cutting for the northeast headquarters of Evonik at 299 Jefferson Road on May 14, 2012.

    200 Club Honors 5 Parsippany Officers
    for their Heroism

    On May 9, 2012, the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized the 5 Parsippany officers that were honored by the 200 Club for their heroism with regard to the shooting that occurred in Mountain Lakes.  They are Patrolman Luke Costigan, Detective Sgt. Richard Nicoletti, Patrolman Michael Ruggier, Patrolman George Tsimpedes and Lt. John Wieners. All were presented with commendations in appreciation of their efforts.

    Lake Hiawatha residents can attend a Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 6:30 PM at the Parsippany Community Center, 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha to hear fellow residents discuss strategies and how to write effective business letters to banks and insurance companies.

    Parsippany Recreation Swim Lessons

    Parsippany Recreation Department presents Parsippany Recreation Swim Lessons at the Knoll Park and Country Club. Parsippany Residents, ages 3 to 18, are welcome to register. Registration begins Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Recreation Office at 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Registration continues on weekdays. Proof of residency is required. A child may only be registered for one session at a time. After your child completes a session, they may register for another session. Class sizes are limited for safety reasons. Fee is $50.00 per child per session.
