2024 Property Tax Programs
Posted January 31, 2024$250.00 Veterans Deduction – Available to all military veterans who have had active duty services in the United States Armed Forces and have been honorably discharged.
$250 Senior/Disabled Tax Deduction – Must be 65 or older and income must be less than $10,000 NOT including Social Security.

Anchor Program – Homeowners combined income must be under $250,000. Renters combined income must be under $150,000. Applications are generally filed online or by telephone.
Senior Tax Freeze - Property Tax Reimbursement (PTR)
Important changes: The income limits have been increased and the 10-year New Jersey residency requirement has been eliminated. The age/disability and three- year homeownership requirement remains unchanged.
To be eligible for the 2023 Senior Tax Freeze; you must be age 65 as of December 31, 2022 and your annual income less than $150,000 in 2022 and less than $163,050 in 2023. With some exceptions, all income must be taken into account, including Social Security, pensions, etc. The 2023 Senior Tax Freeze applications should be available by March, 2024.
