Winter Storm Watch
Posted January 23, 2026The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Parsippany. Parsippany wants to ensure every resident stays safe and warm as this weather moves in. ❄️
The Parsippany Police Department and Mayor Pulkit Desai are asking for your cooperation with a few key safety measures:
- 🚗 Clear the Roads: Parking on public roads is prohibited when they are snow-covered. This allows our DPW crews to plow and salt effectively. Our goal is a clear road, not a towed car—please move your vehicles!
- 🔦 Stay Prepared: Check your flashlights and keep blankets nearby in case of power outages.
- 🧹 Post-Storm Cleanup: Once the snow stops, you have 24 hours to clear your sidewalks, handicap spaces, and any fire hydrants near your property.
- 🛣️ Travel Safety: Please stay off the roads if possible. If you must drive, clear all ice and snow from your vehicle first.
Let’s look out for one another, Parsippany. For real-time weather updates, visit: https://bit.ly/pth07054
