Councilman Matt McGrath
Matt McGrath has been a resident of Parsippany for over 18 years, having purchased his family’s ancestral home back in 2005. He and his wife live with their four children in Intervale section of town. Through his town council role, Matt sets an example for his children by demonstrating the value of community involvement and responsibility. He hopes to instill in them the importance of positively contributing to their town and inspiring them to become future leaders, servants, and helpers in their community.
While raising his family, Matt has been actively involved in the community. Coaching town sports, supporting school activities, and participating in food and personal protective equipment distribution programs for local emergency responders. His commitment to the community extends to supporting faith based homeless programs, global children’s food programs, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Matt’s continued engagement in the community has equipped him to understand and address the needs and concerns of Parsippany residents.
Bringing 25 Years of experience in technology and business, Matt’s expertise includes leading global teams supporting diverse customers with different compliance and security requirements. Developing educational programs to simplify understanding complex technology. As well as creating go-to-market strategies and innovative sales programs.
Matt is dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and progress as a member of town council ensuring Parsippany remains a thriving and vibrant community for families and business alike. In addition to advocating for the residents of Parsippany, he encourages open communication, and dialogue.
