Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Fire Districts
The Township of Parsippany is split up into six Fire Districts all of whom are governed by a Board of Fire Commissioners. These Fire Districts are all volunteer and respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a week. The Fire Districts are responsible for providing fire protection to the community, as well as many other specialized functions including Vehicle Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Elevator Emergencies, Swift Water Rescue, Ice Rescue, Flood Rescue, Rapid Intervention (In case of Firefighter Emergency). - Fire District #1 (Southwest portion of Town, including Mount Tabor)
- Fire District #2 (Northwest portion of Town, including Mount Tabor)
- Fire District #3 (Lake Parsippany portion of Town)
- Fire District #4 (Lake Hiawatha portion of Town)
- Fire District #5 (East portion of Town)
- Fire District #6 (Central portion of Town)
