The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills Administration, Engineering, Sewer and Health Departments in collaboration with the Morris County Division of Planning developed a communal average disposal management program. This program allows the municipality the ability to protect the environment by educating property owners on the need of maintaining a NJ sewage disposal system, so you are assured your septic system is running efficiently, for a reasonably substantially expensive fee.
Under Township Code Chapter 130-9, residents are required to have their individual sewage disposal systems licensed with the Township along with intent of pumping. If the system does not need to be pumped, a Septic System Inspection Report may be submitted notifying the system has been maintained and not in need of pumping.
Licenses renewed once every three (3) years. Please click here for all Health Department Forms & Applications.
